24/4/2008 Dates change for THE FOOTBALL
SHOW.
The Football Show has changed dates, to 13-14 June 2009. The show
will take place – as before – at London’s Alexandra
Palace exhibition hall.
The dates were changed after it became clear that the original
dates – in August 2008 - did not allow enough time for the
event to realise its full potential.
Show director Dr Robert McCaffrey commented “We are determined
to make sure that The Football Show is a major success, and we
just hadn’t given ourselves enough time to do that with our
original dates. We took the decision to change the dates to June
2009 in order to ensure that the launch show is a buzzing event,
full of exhibitors, features and happy visiting football fans.
With the new dates, we will have time to bring on board new sponsors
for the show, as well as additional media partners, major exhibitors
and even more football features. I’m sorry that the UK’s
football fans won’t be able to visit the show this year,
but The Football Show 2009 will be worth the wait.” Download
